Farmer Sausage Perogies

Farmer Sausage Perogies

Ingredients:
  • 1 pack of ONE MILE RANCH FARMER SAUSAGE
  • 1 sweet onion
  • Bag of cheese and potato perogies
  • Salted butter
  • Cheese, grated
  • Sour cream
Directions:
  • Cut farmer sausage into 1inch pieces and fry in a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat until cooked throughout and nicely browned.
  • While sausage is frying, bring a salted pot of water to a boil and then add in perogies. Cook for 3-4 min or until they float to the top (don't over cook).
  • Strain the perogies and melt a generous amount of butter in another cast iron skillet. Once the butter is bubbling, add the perogies. Fry each side of the perogies until golden brown.
  • Once all the perogies are fried, keep in the cast iron skillet and add grated cheese on top and pop in the oven on HIGH broil for a few minutes until cheese is bubbling.
  • Slice onion in fairly thin strips and fry in a separate pan on medium-high until onion is caramelized.
  • Serve with sour cream and ENJOY!
