The Ranch

Small, but mighty

Welcome to One Mile Ranch

Everything began with a single one-mile road leading to our little ranch. By Ranching standards, our farm is small, but we use every square foot this land has to offer to give our animals the best life possible. We've traveled the world and seen how other regions use their land effectively and efficiently, and we've brought those practices back with us. Our little bit of paradise is located just outside of Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada.

Every day at One Mile Ranch is a good day for our animals.

The corporate world of meat production does not prioritize animal welfare or the best product for the consumer. At One Mile Ranch, we do things differently.

Our animals are pasture & grain fed to ensure the highest-quality meat is produced. Our animals have plenty of room to roam during their days at One Mile Ranch and are moved frequently to help maintain our grass and land.

You can rest assured knowing our meat is ethically produced & free of hormones and antibiotics.

Meet the Ranchers

Ranching is our passion, and we want to bring joy to those who want to share our life with us. Our happiness comes from doing what we love with the people we love and laugh with with along the way.

Thank you for your support,

Introducing Regenerative Farming

Regenerative farming maximizes the effectiveness of our land. Every square inch of our farm is expertly planned out so that our animals can live better together with space to roam free.

Our cattle are grass-fed and grain-finished, ensuring the best AAA marbling you can enjoy.

Our animals are butchered using traditional practices that provide the most natural death. We use a local butcher family who has been in the business for generations. Each animal is individually slaughtered and treated with the greatest care.

A New Way to Farm

And a new way to feed your family through regenerative farming. Newly married, Dena and Trent traveled to New Zealand and after their wedding and were blown away by how much New Zealanders could ethically produce with a small plot of land.

Post travel, the two were inspired and invested all they had into creating their dream, The One Mile Ranch.

They bought their first plot of land and started combining teachings from Trent’s experience growing up as second-generation rancher with his 4H training and all that they could learn on regenerative farming.

One Mile Ranch has happy and healthy animals that don’t require antibiotics or hormones.

Our animals roam free and help us take care of our land.
